Why We Built WebDrop
The frustration of transferring a file from your work computer to your phone is universal. Email it to yourself? Use a chat app? Connect a USB cable? None of these feel right in 2026.
WebDrop was born from that frustration. We wanted something as seamless as AirDrop but that works across every platform — Windows, Mac, iOS, Android — without requiring both devices to be on the same network.
Built on Cloudflare's edge infrastructure, WebDrop relays transfers through global nodes so your files arrive in seconds, anywhere in the world. It's completely free and requires no account.
